Introduction The substation is a crucial stage of an electrical power system to transmit and distribute electricity. The substation is designed to change the voltage level from one step to another, switch transmission and distribution circuits in and out of the grid system. A distribution substation transfers electric power from the transmission system to the power distribution system's distribution system. The input power for a distribution substation is typically at least three transmission or sub-transmission lines.
